 Baxi Luna HT 330 making a rumbling/vibrating
Author: eebarral (ME)

I just installed a brand new Baxi Luna HT 330 and it makes a rumbling/vibrating while burning.
It lights fine Nice blue flame through the peep hole, and produces heat and HW fine, but it periodically makes a grumbling-rumbling-vibration while it is burning. It appears to me after it lights and it is modulating down, the flames turns a oranging and this runbling starts, almost like it is going to go out, then there is a almost snap or click and everything work fine. The Vibrating lasts all of 5-10 seconds. At first I thought a big truck was driving by. It was set up for NG when I bought it and we reduced the gas flow and changed the fan speed and % as the install book tells you to, but did we mis anything? I called and left a message for my Tech, but does anyone have any thoughts?

Are you implying you converted it to LP? If so, did your tech use a digital combustion analyzer to calibrate the gas valve?

Yes, changed the settings from NG to run LP.

Changing the settings was only part of the conversion process. Not properly converting the unit can be very dangerous. Your flue temps can be dangerously high. Any qualified tech will print out his readings after conversion, and leave a copy with the boiler documents. He will also retain a copy, in case something goes wrong with the boiler.
