Ok, another dilemma on my quest to finish installing a new pedestal sink. The pedestal came with a 2" lag bolt. I drilled a hole through tile and into concrete subfloor. I went to drive the lag bolt into the floor to secure the pedestal base, but the bolt seems to be spinning vs. securing. The instructions with this sink called for using a 1/4" drill on the hole, which I did. Any ideas why the lag bolt won't grab on and secure the base to the floor?

The lag bolt is meant to be used on wood not concrete. You will need to get a concrete anchor

Also get one that is long enough to get past the tile and mortar, and down into the concrete.

It doesn't "screw" to concrete. You need a lead expansion shield in a bigger hole.

I bought a 2 1/4" concrete wedge anchor and it worked like a champ.
