 Hot water to kitchen
Author: Mar (TX)

Been in house 20 years. Trouble getting hot water to kitchen. Initial plumbers said can't fix and put small hot water heater under sink which worked till it leaked and ruined cabinets and carpet. Next plumber recommended POS heater which works except have to turn pressure down to point where hot water barely trickles AND it blows circuit breaker. 3rd plumber said to just run pipes directly to sink through attic, measured and scheduled but day they came to fix suddenly said they needed special recirculating pump with new electrical or it wouldn't work - increased quote by over 1000.00 plus pump runs 24 hours. So my question is, is there a way to fix this and since I have 3different plumbers with 3 different "cures" how do I know what to do.

And how do they plan to offer warranties on those Cures.
It should state that in their independent quotes.

Right now, I would say call a fourth plumber, because I do not trust, or believe, any of them.

A small timed recirculation pump could remedy your problem, but you will need to have power under the sink. If you have a garbage disposal, an electrician can get you power there easily.
