Plumbing novice here, but looking to take on a hopefully minor job adding a sink to my garage. I have existing sink plumbing behind the wall so it isn't going to be too invasive. The faucet I bought is a wall mount and says it connects to water supply via "1/2" IPS eccentric".
I have 3/4" copper lines going right by the area I want the sink and was going to tap into those with 2 sharkbite tees (I don't know how to sweat fittings and am ok with the extra cost for the small job!). I also am considering leaving an access panel to these fittings just in case. I was going to tee into 1/2" PEX from there, up the wall to the wall mount location. I will also add in-line shutoff valves along this run, with maybe a recessed panel to access them. I am fairly comfortable with what I need until I get to the termination point for the supply lines.
It seems like the most secure way to terminate is with a drop-ear elbow, but they only go to female threads. I found some PEX to male thread fittings, but they don't have a good way to secure the fitting to the wall (was going to add a 2/4 to mount to between the studs). Is there a fitting I am missing here?
I figure my options are:
1) Drop Ear Elbow to female thread with a male to male threaded coupler - not my first choice as it just adds another connection in the wall
2) PEX to Male Threaded elbow with some sort of pipe clamps on the PEX to give it some support.
I would appreciate any assistance here.. and again, I am new to this, so I apologize for any poor naming or terms used above!

your faucet will require a threaded BRASS nipple from the female drop ear ells to the female threaded eccentric connectors which are proprietary and should be with the faucet itself
even if code compliant it is NOT good practice to have a concealed 'shark-bite' fitting
either:
learn to soft solder
or
hire a plumber
