 1 Blocked water pipe
Author: ca (Non-US)

Hi,

I have 1 blocked water pipe and it had to be the kitchen sink. We have sand-point well and we used to much water playing outside my holding tank emptied and rust started to come out. I opened the kitchen tap and rust and sediment came out. I fixed the holding tank by draining it filling again. All the other taps work well the water is clear again except the Kitchen one.

We tried running the water in all the other ones, Closing the main water with the tap open and reopening the main and also clean the filter on the tap.

Non of it work. Although it drips but it does not run.

What can I do to try to unplug the pipe?

I assume you have removed the aerator from the end of the spout . Remove the supply lines and work your way up or down, depending on if you have plenty of water at the supply stops.

You do not specify if it is just the cold water or both hot and cold that is plugged.
