We are remodeling out kitchen and need to buy a new faucet. We want to buy a faucet with a turn on/turn off handle on the side. The problem is that the sink is very close to the wall/backsplash. So we can only use a faucet if the handle pulls forward, and returns only to a position parallel with the wall.
Here is my question: Can a Kohler (or other faucet) be adjusted so that the on off handle is "rotated" so that all the play is forward, with the full "back" position parallel to the wall/backsplash.

Yes, the handle can be positioned any way you like.

The situation you describe would be ideal for a pullout or pulldown faucet.

Most of them are going to operate that way, so it should not be a major consideration.

They are the most common ones with side handles, so it may be what he is asking about.
