I have an older version, albeit very similar, of this faucet I am trying to replace.

Like a fool I figured I could swap over the sprayer so bought one without it. They are both quick disconnect type fittings.

My question is might there be an adapter? The OD of the newer faucet is a little bigger.

Thanks

The new faucet needs to have a diverter valve in it, in order for the spout to shut off when the sprayer is used. If the new faucet is sold without a sprayer, I don't think the manufacturer would have installed a diverter in it.

Edit - It went right past me that the tube you're trying to connect is solely for a sprayer. I was think more about the wording, buying a faucet without a sprayer...

Steve, i appreciate your late night response from the left coast,

It was an open box item bought online without the sprayer included.

Darn frowning I wish they were both the same size.

They are using smaller copper tubing than a few years ago. The quality of delta has gone down hill.

Call 1-800-345-DELT and ask them to send you part #RP44125. You will have a hard time making the old hose work.

Thanks HJ, I Just checked the parts diagram, this faucet has the -A suffix on the back of the estucheon (really B4410LF-A) so RP54807 (quick disconnect sprayer) would be correct (RP44125 otherwise for threaded connection).

Hope this helps anyone with this faucet.

The older faucet is "440 WF."

After a persistent email volley including pictures and specifics, Delta was kind enough to offer me the sprayer for 50% off, including shipping and handling.

I must say their customer support, at least via email, is extremely fast and friendly.

If you had been my customer, it would have been free.
