Over my head again, help with ABS fittings
Author: Rick (NV)

The image that I hope displays here is my in artful attempt to draw what I need to accomplish.

Noteworthy items:
The p-trap is below the area that I have drawn.
I know that I need to use an adapter take the 1 1/2" ABS to 2" ABS..

I need some advice on what fitting or fittings to use to move the drain line over by such a small amount (3 1/2" c to c)

Thanks,

1. Is the 2" pipe horizontal or vertical ?
2. is the 1 1/2" pipe horizontal or vertical ?
3. What is the trap for ?
A couple of st 45 's may be what you need. Much depends on the intended application.

Sorry my drawing was not better...
Both the 1 1/2 inch and 2 inch ABS pipes are vertical
The P trap is below the area I have drawn, it is well below the concrete foundation, although I have excavated down to it to ensure that there was one... P trap line leads to sewer connection...
This is a drain move made necessary by the install of a new bath tub/shower...
Hope that helps...
A single 45 moves the connection far past the 3 1/2 inches required to get the drain pipe to align with the drain in the new tub...
So I'm thinking a combination of 22s and possibly a 22 street elbow... but I am assuming there is a more elegant way of doing this...
Thanks for any advice...

using a combination of two 22's or street 22's or one of each is the elegant way of doing this..

One question is whether the drawing is upside down, because the way you have it a 2" line is connecting to a 1 1/2" one.
