Just got new Magtag with ice maker built in, arrived on time. They hooked it up but left without turning ice maker on. Am I correct counterclockwise is on clockwise is off.
OK, STILL NO ICE COMING OUT OF ICE MAKER-IS PUMP NOT SENDING TO ICE MAKER CHECKED CONNECTIONS IN BACK WATER IS COMING THRU LINE ? WERE IS IT GOING IF NOT TO ICE MAKER?
I turned counterclockwise and water is going thru line-but were if not ice maker???????
PLEASE ADVISE!

Agree.. Make sure the "bail wire" over the ice catcher tray is in the down position. Throw out the first few loads of ice. They might have a funny taste.

HI, THANK U VERY MUCH FOR ANSWER.BOYFRIEND CHECKED OUT BACK TOOK OFF CARDBOARD THE SERVICE MEN DID NOT ATTACH 2 GOLD PRONGS TO ICE MAKER -geez-OK HE HOOKED IT UP CLOSED BACK & U WERE RIGHT MANual in fridge figured it out from there. 10 minutes lateR ICE CUBES.

Where did you buy this refrigerator? At "Manny's Cut Rate Appliances"? The "gold prongs" should have been connected at the factory, NOT by the installers or you. And any "good" installer knows how to turn on the water supply to the icemaker.
