Hi guys,
I have this polypropylene plastic nipple:
I'm using it to connect to a polyethylene female threading + a brass female threading.
Should I use PTFE tape or pipe dope on either of these connections?
Thanks!

Excerpt from your link: "Connections:Threaded (NPT). The use of thread sealant is recommended; use of pipe tape is not recommended."

I use 3 wraps of tape with just a tiny dab of dope on top of the tape. Make sure the dope is compatible with plastic fittings.

You can use this connection carefully. And you need to check at first is it really responcible or not. I mean ensure the dope is consistent with the polypropylene plastic.

So, pipe dope + tape on both plastic-plastic and plastic-metal connections? Got it.
Thanks!

You are kidding, right? You have been working on that nipple for over two weeks now on multiple sites and have been given ALL the correct replies you need. Either follow that advice or call a plumber who will put it together in about 5 minutes.
