 elbow pipe removal?
Author: cao3883 (PA)

I have the world's worst plumbing for my bathtub. The drain from the tub makes a sharp turn almost immediately so there is no drainage at all. Of course I have a nasty clog that I am trying to get rid of so I removed the panel to get to the pipes. I got the top piece off but I am stuck at this elbow piece. I can't get it to budge because it has to be pulled up and sideways at the same time. Any suggestions? I really would like to take a shower without standing in a foot of dirty water. Mind you I really don't have any experience as I am a 27 yr old single mom with an immensely low budget. I have tried liquid plumbers and baking soda and vinegar and nothing works. I thought I would go to the source of the problem and see if I can get further into the pipes but I am stuck. Any suggestions? Please?

You probably do NOT want to get that "elbow piece", whatever it is, apart, because if you do, there is a huge probability that you will break it, and something else, in the process.

Hi, You have tried some home remedies; still, the issue is there. So you should call a professional plumber.
