Kohler Rialto bowl not filling completely

I recently rebuilt our Rialto toilet with this kit:
Kohler Toilet Repair Part - 1B1X Conversion Kit - #84499
All the parts went to place as they should but the issue I am having is the toilet bowl isn't filling as much as it did before. The water level is not reaching the top of the main water jet/port that performs the main flushing action… short by ½" or so.
Is there an adjustment for this? Thank you.

Author: hj (AZ) The water level has to be at the point where the trap is full, NOT just cover the jet. Did you connect the "bypass tube" into the opening in the front of the tank? It works best if you cut off the original clear plastic tube and then insert the one from the Coast valve in to it.
