my bathroom sink is backed up and I have tried everything from drain cleaner, plunging, and snaking it. when I plunge it I am pulling leaves up which leads me to believe that the clog is in the sewer line. how can I unclog it without having to go under the house and taking the sewer line apart?

Does your house have exposed sewer lines under it? If so, does the exposed sewerline have a clean out port?
Be careful when pulling your line as you have used acids, without success, and the acids may still be sitting in the line.
Pulling leaves from your sewer line is a strange indication that leaves are entering your sewer line.
If you feel the job is for a professional... hire one and have the job done correctly.
Best Wishes

"Taking the sewer line apart" is a Draconian way to fix it. But, since you also do NOT have a snake that would clear the main line, assuming that is where the problem is although I doubt it, the best solution is to call a plumber who will know WHERE and HOW to clear the line.
