Small bend in 3" ABS (or 4" PVC)
Author: LenK (Non-US)

I am relocating a toilet in a cottage. The ABS pipe to the septic tank is at an angle slightly larger than 90 degrees to the PVC pipe from the toilet. Is there a way of making a bend less than a 22 1/2 joint would make? I can make the bend over a few feet of pipe if necessary, but I of course want to maintain a reasonable slope. I do not have much of a drop from the toilet to the septic pipe.

Thanks in advance

Although not very professional, a rubber coupling will allow quite a bit of "adjustment".

ON THE "BENCH" you can try heating a pipe with a hair dryer and/or torch to allow for small bending - then replace existing using a coupling - or use rubber coupling(s)

Rather than heating the ABS with a torch -- might make toxic gases -- get some sand, heat it up, insert it into the pipe and make your bend.
