I own a Toto Drake 1.6 gpf (gallons per flush) and in the approx 5 years that I've owned it has been a great toilet, never a clog and so far no repairs needed and I highly recommend it.

just put a drake II in and it flushes well. 1.28 gpf.. however the drake II costs about $100 more than drake I probably not worth the extra dough.

If you have to plunge a lot due to stool clogs, you might want to get a Caroma. We used to have a "Clog a Week Club" but since we put in the Caroma Sydney (4 inch trap) we have not had to plunge even once. This is over about 3 months.

Ours is 1.28/0.8 gallons per flush model. Dual flush. It's called the "easy height" model -- higher seat.

But I know Toto toilets are great too and they might be easier to get. More stores carry them.
