I had my sewer line and sump line rerouted from the side of the house through the front. They also dug up my collapsed catch basin and bypassed it. I noticed a very slow leak on the last 90 degree PVC elbow before it exits through the front of the foundation. The work was done a couple weeks ago and I'm hoping they'll fix it free (with permits the job cost $7600).
Looks like they didn't use enough PVC primer/cement on that last elbow. Do they need to saw off and redo the elbow? The elbow is about a foot from the foundation wall and I'm paranoid that some other connection is going to become weak if they aren't very careful.

The joints are either good or bad, and if good they are NOT going to "weakened" by working on the pipe. There is no way to fix a leaking joint except to cut it out and redo it.
