Looking at the Moen 3330 for a valve and transfer valve. Had a couple questions: Is the transfer valve pressed into the temp/pressure valve or can it be sweated / separated? Don't like the trim options for it - was going to do the Voss. I know they offer separate transfer valves but from the pressure and volume stats, it looks like this series has best volume and pressure stats?

If you don't like the transfer valve trims, don't buy that valve. Buy either a simple Moentrol shower valve or a Moen Posi-Temp, and then connect it to your diverter valve.

Thanks. Not a fan of the trim but the bigger concern was the flow through the valves. Will the other valves you mention support the same flow?

They are the SAME valve without the extra stuff.

Thanks! Talked to Moen and they reccommended a Moentrol flipped to use tub port. Sounds like a plan.

Do NOT "flip" it, or you will have an upside down unit with all the lettering, and handle, upside down. Just connect to the bottom port and pipe around the valve up to the shower. You can even tie the upper "shower" port into it if you want to.
