We have a kitchen sink that is the last faucet on a run from the water heater, why does it take so long to get hot? The water heater has 3/4" pex coming out of it, it runs 8' and then T's with 1/2" pex running to the shower.the 3/4' pex continues about 6'and T's with 1/2" pex running to the bathroom faucet. These 2 lines start getting warm within 30 seconds no problem. Heres where it gets odd , the 3/4" pex continues about 8' and then T's to 1/2" pex going to the kitchen sink, and 3/4' pex continues 2' and is capped off(baffle). All of the 1/2" runs are about 5' to 7' The kitchen sink takes about 3 minutes to start getting warm. If we run the bathroom and kitchen faucet at the same time it doesn't take as long to get warm. Can anyone help us fix this problem?

No actually it is a duel handle faucet. For giggles we have tried that even though it is a duel, and obviously it wasn't any better. And it is city water.

If you have a single handle shower valve...check the cartridge. You may be getting some bleed over. Hot and Cold water mixing...
