I have an Aqua Star tankless water heater and all the new faucet restrictors prevent my water heater to call for hot water. Bosch took over the company several years back and a number of parts are no longer available. I do not want to have to return to the old standard tank type water heater as itis not cost effective. One of my lavatory sinks has
the older version of faucet installed and as soon as I turn on the hot water I have it within the minute. Just recently I had a new shower and larger lavatory sink installed and the only way I can manage to get hot water to the shower and lg. lavatory is turn on everything to call for hot water. All lines were flushed without ang clogging debris but the tankless water heater only works for my washer and small lavatory which calls and turns on the tankless heater. What do you suggest I do??

Your flow control must be defective because it should turn on the heater when the flow is .5 gpm or so. The shower is running over 2 gpm which would turn on ANY properly operating tankless heater.
