I am seeing ads for this system in the trade magazines and curious if anyone has installed it yet and their take on it. [easyflexusa.com]

I see they list these advantages:

Flexible
Lightweight
Pure and non-toxic
Corrosion resistant
Biostatic
Easy Installation

PEX is all of those, except biostatic, I suspect.

Are there any other advantages to stainless over PEX?

For example, could you convert your water lines to carry gas or steam in the future? wink

Check out Wardflex CSST for low pressure gas.

I've been using their gas CSST. Not sure if they are making the water CSST. Seems logical.

Different material and the one being referenced is NOT for use with gas. Wardflex is also for medium pressure gas lines.
