Hello, my name is Olivier and I am currently remodeling one bathroom.
I tried to figure the new set up out and this is what I came up with (see below).
My question is : Is it OK and is it better with revent #3bis or 3...
Thank you for your help.

Here in NC the shower would not need an individual vent, it is being wet vented via lavatories. Neither of the 3 " vents you have drawn would not be needed either.

In another drawing, he shows the shower drain being 8' long, which means it WOULD need vent #3 and vent #3bis is useless.

Hello HJ,
you are right. In Alberta (where I live) it is also no more than 8 feet between the trap and the vent (2" pipe).
So my plan is to go wet vented if in that configuration it is less than 8' (it shouldn t as 8' is the total length of the bathroom, But I have to meseaure to be sure).
If it is more than 8' I will keep revent 3. Unless it s better to install 3bis instead.
Thank you, again.
PS: HJ, you must be a busy man answering every post outhere!! Know that it is really appreciated.

Hey, we won a game last night. Deja vu, because I also lived in Chicago, and the only team there is the Cubs. (Don't believe anyone who tells you there is an American League team on the South side).
