 Shower and toilet drain problem
Author: jbl124 (TX)

My wife noticed immedietely after her shower that there was standing water around the toilet but none between the shower and the toilet (they are about three to four feet apart). The foundation on the exterior wall behind the toilet is wet also. Any advice on what this likely is or where to start will be greatly appreciated.

sounds like you have a partial stoppage in the main drain. may have to pull the toilet to be able to run a snake thru.
there may be a cleanout available as well.

Thanks Packy! Glad to say we found there is a clean out on the back side of the house and snaking from there unclogged the line. Hopefully no more plumbing issues for a long time now. Thanks again!
