It may not work the best for a disabled person. But have you thought about using a small corner lav ? I have seen some as small as 12"x15"

How about a POS from Japan. That is about the only ones you will find. No U.S. manufacturer would even consider making one.

They are actually made in the USA. Of course they are stainless steel units and made in Wisconsin and California. I'm sure Vic has one on the floor.
Becareful, ADA, set special measurements.
The China versions are best left in Japan (olympics)
Best Wishes

Those are prison/public restroom fixtures, usually with push button vandal proof actuators requiring a pipe chase behind the wall.

i did a couple of barrier free bathrooms. both were at least 9 or 10 ft.
the entire floor was covered with shower pan material and pitched to a shower drain.
the floor was tiled and the toilet was caulked very well.
anyway, RV's and campers have combo baths. there isn't anything there that you could use, is there?

You wouldn't really want to install an RV/camper "kickstarter" toilet in a residence, would you?

the w/c - sink combos use the trap refill tube to supply ONLY cw to the sink which drains into the w/c to replenish the trap
they are primarily used in japan, but, there is a 'kit' replacement lid available
imo:
your only solution is to make the entire room the shower with a basin and w/c installed on opposite walls ~ wall hung and well caulked
the main issue would be the 'sill' / entry door
this arrangement (don't know any dimensions) is actually used in the Scandinavian countries

Bern-- I would imagine that they are installing radiant floor heat/walls in those bathrooms as well. You would want the room to dry out as quickly as possible.
