Kitchen sink has little to no flow
Author: greendeklan (NC)

This problem has plagued me for a long time but seems to be getting worse lately. It is an AquaSource two-handle kitchen sink with sprayer hose. Here are the major symptoms:

-Turning either of the handles on too fast or too far will cause all water flow to shut off
-Many times the water will remain shut off for several minutes to hours
-The faucet cannot give off more flow than about 1/4 to 1/2 normal full flow
-The sprayer hose has NEVER worked

When told that it could be an issue with the diverter, I opened it up to see what might be the problem, only to find there doesn't appear to be any sort of replaceable diverter. Here's a picture with the spout off:

There doesn't seem to be anything there that's a moving part or replaceable. Is there ANY way to fix this without replacing the entire faucet?

The problem is with the diverter. I can't see your picture so I can't tell you exactly what you need to do net.

i think the diverter is in the center. hold a paper cup over that piece and turn on the cold water for a split second. it may pop right out.

When I turn the water on, the water just flows from the lower holes (you can kind of see one of them in the picture, beneath the top O-ring.
