I see they sell dehumidifiers with a pump...what size hose do these use and how far away will they pump...
My current unit doesnt have this function and its fairly new but I wonder why cant I set the dehumid. next to the furnace and run the hose into the furnace condensate tank ? Any downside or problem with this

i understand thats what its ment for but didnt know if it would handle the furnace,ac,and dehumid or if there was any reason NOT to do it...thx
Do you guys see any issues with the Diversitec pumps ?

cvcman...They make cheap water alarms. You could put the pump in a pan with a $30 alarm.
