I have been busy with my solar collector based naturally circulated water heater. Schematic given below:
I wanted hot water to be collected in one tank, if the water in that tank becomes cold there is a feed back from the hot water tank to the inlet of collecter(collecter has a radiator like design).
I wanted to know if my design will work and the water flow takes place as predicted in the schematic. If there is any flaw in my design please suggest some corrections. I also would like to know suitable dimensions to take.

Hot water rises, you show it sinking.

It will if the storage tank is ABOVE the solar collector. There is an Australian system with the tank mounted above the heater as a single unit. Your "cold water tank" is useless.

You will need a 'swing check' in the hot water recirculation line back to the cold water. As stated, it will work provided the storage tank is above the solar panel and that is not usually the case.

@asktom: no i meant at some time water in hot tank cools and should be reheated so that re-circulation of cold water was shown in the fig

The process of heating the water is the same one which will "reheat" the water as it is used or cools down. It does not require a 'special connection' or a cold water tank.
