Kitchen water works on hot but not cold...
Author: fleetchick (Non-US)

Hi, I live in a Mobile home and it's been VERY cold of late. Yesterday both my cold and hot were working fine in the kitchen but last night when I pushed my tap to the right (cold) there was no water...but, my hot water works, and both bathroom cold (tub and sink) work.

Could just the one line be frozen like that? We will be getting warmer temps in the next few days...would it be ok to leave it for now or could it cause damage if I don't get it thawed right away?

thank you.

Mobile homes... sit high off the ground and during freeze season, those unprotected pipe/supplies are the first to freeze. I believe that is your issue and will resolve itself when the weather changes. Open a single faucet and allow it to drip until the water begins to flow again.

Best Wishes

Very possible.

No way to tell, it could already be too late and the pipe will leak when it thaws, or it could freeze "harder" in the next couple of days and then break, or you could get lucky and nothing will happen when it thaws.
