Want to plumb a rear outlet toilet (Kohler K-3554) in upstairs bathroom of my 2 story house.
Question: Using 3" ABS, I want to run about 18 inches horizontally before I drop vertically.
Has anyone ever had experience with running the discharge of a rear outlet toilet a short horizontal distance like this? Any comment or recommendation would be greatly appreciated?
Thanks in advance.
Here's a couple of pics as to my layout and my short horizontal run.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
Was over at another forum the past week and oddly enough no one could give me a simple answer.
I've just never come across a rear outlet toilet in my many years of DIY projects and wasn't 100% sure.
Once again, thanks.

Over there, I think you showed a 4x3 closet bend elbow for the turn, and the advice was that it would retain water in the "reduced" area, otherwise, as long as it has pitch it will work.

The Kohler Wall Hung, Rear Discharge was an original spec for all Holiday Inn Motels and Hotels many years ago. Having a wall hung toilet may require that you have a metal carrier to support the toilet. I hope you have considered that.

I think he is looking at a floor mount rear outlet toilet. Otherwise the whole discussion is moot because the "flange" would be part of the carrier, or at least should be to do the job right.

Thanks HJ. That definitely is a floor mount, rear discharged, tank toilet.
