basement has fiberglass shower. Removing old shower and replacing with ceramic. does it need shower pan or can I create bed on concrete floor? |

You can do anything you want to, even putting the tile on the concrete floor, if you are not concerned about anything getting damaged if it leaks. |

Shower pan liner and poured base is what's normally used here. |
