Hollow noise when flushing toilet
Author: Sari (NJ) When flushing toilet upstairs we can hear like a hollow flushing sound towards the basement. Not sure if it's the venting system as we have just had a snow storm followed by an ice storm. But i would think all the toilets would sound like that if the vent was blocked.

Author: hj (AZ) That would usually indicate that there is a seldom used drain that has dried out and you are hearing the sound of water in the drain line.
