2004 palm harbor double wide. 4 bath home. clog is in front far end bath-tub and toilet backup. have ran 75 ft snake from all 4 vents on roof. septic checked- not full, and trap is clear. tried closet auger on toilet- it is clear, and has drained, but will not flush clear. tub will not drain. tried several plungers, can not run auger thru tub drain due to the drain plug config. snaked with power snake from septic(only about 25 ft from this bath) back to that bathroom as well. what are we missing? you can hear plunging from bath in the kitchen sink also. Kitchen sink was a little slow night before this happened, but hot water and vinegar,soap, it drains fine after that,never stopped up.We do not have a garbage disposal,not much goes down kitchen sink. cant figure out where its clogged. do we have to take the tub out since cant snake thru that plug? Its one of those garden tubs that never gets used,but apparantley this is lowest part of the house. other 3 bathrooms are fine, toilets flush fine; 2 on opposite end of house, 1 is just other side of closet from clogged bathroom-directly across from it.

You have a blockage in your line. A small drain rodder won't resolve your issue. Call a licensed plumber and have them do it right. Watch what they do and learn.

You may have snaked thru the clog each time you ran the snake thru the system. But if the clog is a soft clotted mass, your snake will go thru it without moving it or breaking it down. In that case, you will need to make repeated passes while keeping as much water in the drain as is possible to help liquefy it. Good luck.

Considering all of your time and failed results, you've spent a bundle without achieving tangible results. Swallow your pride and open your waste line to an expert..... a licensed plumber.

No telling, ahead of time, how much it will cost, because mobile home drain systems are a different breed of animal from a regular house, and they seldom worried about HOW it was going to be cleared if it ever got plugged up.

Shop vac'd all water out,took out toilet,rented 100' snake,ran it thru line,its clear,just stops,but comes back clean. How to tell if its running to septic.septic is closest to the clogged toilet. All fixtures front of house ,you can not see run to septic tank.all on back of house u can see all way to septic tank. Tried everything else,water flush tools,etc. Toioetnand kitchen sink to north of clogged bathroom drain ok,but not all way to septic?could not see water from hose flush come out to septic either.must've gone back up line to other end of house?don't get why snake directly from clogged line,to septic that's only about 35 ft away isn't clearing it?

Everything failed. Calling plumber.idk what he's going to do other than pull pipe from under mh.seems we can't get snake to run to main line to septic. Must join at tee in middle.idk.

That is because you are not a plumber. It depends on what KIND of snake you are using and what the stoppage is.

Well plumber used hand crank snake,similar what we had,but took 2 of them and a lot of back up,go forwards,cuz theres double 90 degree turns ,one from kitchen,one from other end ,bathroom,that meet under front door,then goto main.took them some work thru kitchen sink and bathroom sink to clear it.he said would help to change that double turn out,add clean out in front easy to get to.they did what we did,but knew where it met,and how to maneuver snake and 2 working together to get thru turnd.said still hard for them too with double turns into the main.not a good setup!husband feels somewhat better since it wasn't that easy. No telling what caused it,prolly kitchen line.

So now you have a clean and cleared waste line. I'm sorry that you were not able to capture the clog to determine what is was...... or what caused the clog. Knowing this might help what not to flush into your waste line.
