TY NC Plumber like the solvent weld inlet, I googled and it said it was a straight stop do you know the number for the angle stop?

with brasscraft stops, R14 is straight and R19 is angle.
so, PR19 C1 is the number..

You should not have too, unless there is knocking.

Acor push on stops are what most plumbers use for that application, although I consider them "pieces of junk".

In that case leave a lot of tubing sticking out of the wall so you can cut it off and install a new valve when it fails.

I though you used 1/2" comp. valves?

They are 1/2 solvent weld x 3/8" compression that NC plumber suggested I'm leaning towards. Why have you had a bad experience with them? I figured if everything else is glued, why not the stop? Push on sharkbite type really scares me for permanent.Plus I'm not buying them.....

Yeah, the MIP cpvc have brass threads now, probably the best bet.

"Everything else" does not have to be changed periodically.

so teflon tape seals threads, but cant help seal a farrel to a piece of cpvc?
i had leaks, i started wrapping the farrel with tape====no more leaks...hey it worked for me and i recommend it on cpvc angle stops
dont be rude with me(i do own stock in a teflon tape factory)

No you do NOT! As the "teflon company" says, there is NO "Teflon pipe joint tape" because it has never been approved for that purpose. You have stock in a company that makes "white plastic" TPFE tape.
