 Bleach cake stuck in toilet
Author: kken1229 (CA)

My granddaughter helped me out by dropping a partially used bleach cake in the toilet bowl. It is blocking the flow, although eventually the water drains. Any suggestions for how to get the cake to melt quickly?

Remove it. Its stuck in the throat of the trap.

Have you tried a plunger? One of those rubber suction-cup things on a stick? That might do it. If not, Turn off the toilet supply valve, flush the toilet completely and fill the tank with warm water and flush a few times.
Or wait a few weeks. It will dissolve on it's own.
For faster service, call a plumber.

it is clean water in the bowl.why not get the wAter out with a spong, then put a nice little cleaning glove on the little darliing and see if they can just reach up in the trap and get it out.may be a small screwdriver to poke it into pieces.can,t hurt
