 old double ended clawfoot tub
Author: pipestretcher (WA)

Working on an old double ended clawfoot tub with a roll top. There are three holes for the faucet and what i believe use to be the plunger for the drain. None of the hardware is there anymore. I cant find a deck mount faucet that can fit the roll top so I am going to mount it on the bathroom wall. But I need to find some chrome plugs for the existing holes on the rim. I have seen plugs for holes in the wall of claw foot tubs but not for a roll top rim. Let me know if you've seen anything like this. Thanks

If it is rounded where the faucet should be, then you are probably out of luck, but they usually had a small flat area around the openings for a "fuller ball faucet" to mount.

reusing an old one doesnt really work...ive tried to find plugs for those holes and couldnt

they DO make faucets still that will fit in the holes.....i recommend buying one of those faucets or getting a new modern claw foot....Kohlers is only around $12,000 for the whole package
