I have an 8" Carefree Lav Faucet and the cold water side keeps leaking and won't turn off. The label on the box the faucet came in has R69896 and Quick Find Code "FH" on it (may be the model number???) The box also says "Washerless Ceramic Disc Valve." The toll free number I have for Carefree Faucets in Milwaukee, WI is no longer a working number. The box also says "Universal-Rundle Corporation on it. I haven't been able to locate what happened to this company so I can get a replacement part. I took the cold water valve off and believe the ceramic disc cartridge needs to be replaced but am having trouble finding it because I don't have a part number. Can you help me with the part number or where I can find a ceramic disc cartridge for this Carefree Lav faucet. Here's a photo of what I need. Thanks for helping me find this part!!

The stem is unusual because it does not appear to have any "flats" for a wrench, but Kohler and Milwaukee both seem to have a similar stem, so you might compare them with yours.

do not replace it repair it??the glass is posted to green?a polishing compound on the used to be white surfaces will clean up the drip.Remove the rubber bottom seal and the two positioned glass contact /seal points and make them white .customers love lemon?a lite citrus acid.orange hand cleaner with pumice for deep cleaning.I used to clean penny's?LOL.never will stop counting them.Sadly any apparent cracks would leave you with, HJ'S thought.an active manufacture with a close relative to your needs.

Good luck making it work. Those two discs are polished to the point where they "stick" together, and you are not going to improve on their finish. The discs are probably NOT the reason for a leak, and if they are the damage is too severe for you to correct it.
