I have a Sewage Ejector system in a new home and I'm looking for a Battery back-up system for it our power goes out a lot and I just think it would be good to have one. Also when it rains a lot it seems to get rain water in the system and it kicks on the pump is that normal?
Thanks,
JM

If it is a true ejector system, a battery backup pump would be very expensive.

A sewer ejector should be a closed system, so no rain water should get in there.
Maybe get a whole-house generator that kicks in automatically when power is lost.

if rain water is getting in, sewage is getting out..

A natural gas, or gasoline generator is best for your application, until you get the electric issues resolved with your utility supplier. Metropolitan Pump of Downers Grove, IL makes a costly item called the SumPro, which would be ideal, but again, costly. If you and your neighbors are close, you could share the cost of a generator as I'm sure they too have a 110 volt sewage ejector system.
Best Wishes

i like the Storm Pro 10 for a backup system
i assume were talking about a storm or sump pump crock? (not a sanitary crock) since you say rain water is getting in
Storm Pro 10 is the best...also very expensive

As said.if rain water is getting in it probably needs correction.and a generator is the best bet for back up power.
