Any change you could take a picture of the shower valve and face plate with handle?

I will take a picture and add it on Monday but the handle, face plate and copper pipe behind the shower have no marking other then SA and are the most generic I have have seen. I need to find what brand this is because I can not cut a hole behind the shower and replace the entire piece.

Literally there are probably a hundred cartridges that look almost exactly like that. Not knowing the brand name makes it very difficult.

The shape of the sealing gasket eliminates a lot of possiblities, and the shape of the stem narrows it down further. The companies do not typically "make" the stem so several companies may use the same one. Yours looks like it could be one of the following, which all seem to be the same. Using a stem catalog you may find one of these brands in it to compare yours with. Concentrate of appearance, not necessarily color. But, colorwise, it appears yours is a T&S valve stem.

sorry of the twenty two I have on the van none are numbered inside the packaging as yours is.As said post a picture of the trim?I guess better by looks sometimes.Age ?though Ibet under five years.
