 old jacuzzi tub faucet fix
Author: jucx (NC)

I have an older Jacuzzi whirlpool tub from the 1980's that has ugly brass faucets, spigot and drain. The tub was tiled in and I am not even sure I can get to the faucets to replace them.
There is an access door for the motor, etc for the tub but it is at the other end of the tub. What do I do? Can I even find new faucets for this tub?

whether you can get new trim for the faucet you have is debatable, since we do not know which one you have. If the trim is NOT available, then you have to access under the tub to replace the mechanism.

You can probably buy new chrome trim for the faucet and drain. You'll need to know the brand and model of each. Since its from the 80's it likely Delta, Moen, or Kohler. If you can locate new trim you shouldn't need access under the tub. All can be replaced from the topside.

Jacuzzi usually had "proprietary" handles and spouts, but often used Delta stems.
