okay i just installed an aquasource 3hanlde shower faucet to my new tub. I have ran 3/4" cpvc throughout my entire house. I have ran into a problem. I cant find or figure out what fitting goes from the shower diverter to the cpvc pipe up to the shower head and down to the spout? Is there some special kind of adapter i need. (note... the shower diverter isnt threaded.. if that helps)

use copper both up to the sho head and down to the spout...it would be a flimsy poor quality install if you didnt...it could create pressure problems in cpvc also.....then sweat male/female adaptors onto the hot/colds and thread in male/female (brass/cpvc) adaptors in
I use Kohler valves so i can just thread the female adaptor right onto the valve.

When I uses valves with male threads on the body, I solder the copper tubing right into the valve WITHOUT adapters. But in this case, he states that the diverter fitting is NOT threaded, so we cannot tell what he has, since that is normally only the case when NONE of the connections are threaded because it is a solder valve.

I've seen CPVC/copper adapters in the supply house. You'd glue the adapter to the CPVC and then go with a copper adapter and copper tubing... Best I can do to help. With no threads on the valve, you definately have to sweat copper. As stated, use copper to the shower head and especially to the tube spout. If you don't pipe properly to the tub spout, you will create a back pressure that will create a constant leak at the shower head when filling the tub...
