Hello
I am moving a hot water heater to the other side of my house. I was wondering if it is ok to feed the cold water faucets before feeding the hot water heater. ex- From the water meter, run the cold to the bathrooms and kitchen, then feed the hot water heater.
I was wondering if it would have anything to do with water pressure.
I am using cvpc.

as long as you size the line properly you shouldnt need to worry about volume or pressure

No, it has to do with where the water heater is located. IF it is between the service entry point and the faucets, then LOGICALLY, it would be connected first. But, if it is at the end, piping to it and then BACK to the faucets would be ridiculous, expensive, and THAT could create a pressure situation (not minimize one).
