The bath, basin and kitchen faucets and mixtures demand frequent servicing due to leakage in high rise buildings due to very high waterline pressure. If a local valve be introduced before each faucet end, the faucet can be saved from the onslaught of the high pressure. Have somebody attempted an arrangement in this fashion? If so then kindly educate me on the same.
Thanks & Regards.

The practicality of doing this depends on how the fixtures are connected to the riser(s), and whether there is an accessible location for the pressure reducing valve. IF every fixture is connected to a separate riser, then each would need its own PRV, but if they all are connected to a common branch, then one, or two, may be sufficient. You might also consider changing the faucets to models with ceramic seats which should not be subject to those problems.

Interesting. Which brand of faucet and is the source of the water city or well supplied. Was the high rise engineered for the water pressure or was this thought of afterwards? How high is .... high rise?

And as an adjuct to that question is the water fed upwards using pumps, or downward from a roof level supply source, or a composite of both? Which will affect which floors have the higher, or highest, pressures.

I worked on an existing building that fed the cold from the bottom floor and hot from the top floor. It was old enough that pressure balancing shower valves were not used. We SOMEWHAT helped the problem by adding retrofit pressure balance valves before the shower which cut the complaints a lot, but the owners couldn't afford a repipe.

I added a reducer in my home and save 16,000 gallons of water in the first billing cycle.
