I had to replace my pressure reducer valve in my home. The 120 in equaled the 120 out. Not to good. I now am at 50 out and all is well. BUT...at random times I get a howl in my pipes. Turning different faucets cold or hot on will stop it but it may or may not start when I turn it back off. It will do it even in the middle of the night when no one is up using anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Next time you hear the howl check the toilet fill valves for vibration at the float arms, You may find is all you need is new ballcocks in the toilets

just to add a thought...I replaced the guts of both toilets since the extra pressure made both of them continuosly run. Is there maybe an adjustment I need to do? Thanks again.
