We are debating on knocking out part of a closet & extending our bathroom. At present, the bathroom is barely big enough for the toilet & the bathtub that is in there. We are wanting to add a standup shower & a garden tub & do away with the bathtub.
For what we are wanting to do, the plumbing would need to be moved to another wall & even the drains would need to be moved.
Can that even be done? This is a brick home on a slab & now that we are tyring to plan to do this, I am wondering how it would even be done!

no problem. just cut the concrete where the existing pipe is and then cut a path to the drain locations

It is done by contacting an architect or designer to have a drawing made, then getting a general contractor to build the thing. Plumbers will break open the floor, access the piping, and reroute the drains as necessary. As my dad used to say, "Anything is possible if you have enough money and time."

Same as, If you want to go to the Moon, just aim the rocketship at it and ignite the motor.
